WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A COMFORTER AND A COVERLET?

A coverlet is always patchwork, has a soft flannelette backing and is about 32” x 40”. A comforter is more decorative, may have piping or other decorative trim, has a better grade cotton chenille backing, and is about 33” x 43”. Either item is fully washable and soft & cuddly for baby.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CRIB PILLOW AND TOSS PILLOWS?

Toss pillows are always sold in a set of two and are made with one solid and one patchwork style . Crib pillows are sold as a single unit with the exception of Lagoon and SeeSaw crib pillows which are sold in a set of 2 – one large and one tiny pillow. Remember, pillows are only for accenting the nursery and should not be placed in the crib while baby is in the crib.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE WINDOW VALANCES?

Panel Valances are 106” long and 16” wide from the top of the valance to the bottom. The rod pocket is 3”.
Tab Valances are 90” long and 16” wide from the top the tabs to the bottom of the valance. This style valance is meant for a decorative rod.
Ascot Valances (v-shaped) are 52” long and are 15” from the top of the valance to the bottom of the “v”. If your window is wider than 52” consider buying more than one valance to create a neat effect.

HOW DO I WASH MY SWEET KYLA LINEN SET?

Your linen set can be machine washed on GENTLE CYCLE in cold water. For best results, LAY FLAT TO DRY. You can dry for a few minutes in the dryer on low heat then lay flat to dry. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT OVERLOAD THE WASHER & DRYER and NEVER USE HOT WATER OR HIGH HEAT. If wrinkling occurs, iron lightly in a circular motion. Crib sheets can be put in the dryer on low heat.

CAN I BUY THE BEDDING PIECES SEPARATELY?

Yes! We now offer any of our bedding pieces separately including the comforter, bumper pad, dust ruffle, crib sheet, and pillow.

WHAT ARE SWEET KYLA CRIB SHEETS MADE OF?

We can guarantee you that you will not find a softer, better fitting sheet on the market today! Every sheet we sell is made of 100% cotton jersey knit and is available in 5 colours – white, ecru, lemon yellow, sage green, and chambray blue. Our sheets are sized generously and have elastic sewn all the way around giving it a safe snug fit on the mattress. The sheet will always fit regardless on how many times it’s washed.

CAN I BUY FABRIC BY THE YARD TO COMPLETE MY DECORATING PROJECT?

Yes! All of our fabrics can be bought by the yard/metre. Your Sweet Kyla dealer will be able to provide you with information on the width of the fabric and the price so that you can determine the yardage you need.
